As I explain in the video, there are some tasks you should do each day, and a magic number for items on your to-do list!

Welcome to another Episode of Nick Pratt TV. In this episode, I am going how many things to have on your to-do list.
This is something that I personally have kind of thought about over the past year or two, and it’s something I thought you could gain value from. I’ve read a lot of productivity books on life leverage and things like that, and it’s quite an important point.
So, in a given day, how much do you do?
I used to think that you were meant to do absolutely tons of things in a day. Whereas in actual fact, from books I read, you should never have more than 7 things on your to do list each day.
Otherwise, you’ll be stretched too thin, and your day will get out of control.
What I would say is have 5 – 7 things on your to do list each and every day. Don’t let your day become out of control.
Another mentor of mine talked about the power of 5 each day. I think that’s a good model to work with.
You have specific thing each day that bring in the results.
For example, one of the key things that I try to do at least 5-10 times a week is send out an email to my mailing list, which I love to do. It’s very important to do.
Another one of those things is connect with the people that are reaching out to me. I have tons of people reaching out to me on Facebook every single day, and I have assistants that help with that.
Another thing is content creation, and another is managing traffic and advertising campaigns.
So what are your power 5 each day?
What are the things that if you did them every single day, it would really add up to a lot at the end of the month and at the end of the year?
Don’t have tons of things on your list – just 5-7 things, and make sure they get done.
There will be times where you have a special project in which you have to dedicate a whole day to that, but the point is, day in and day out, you should have a power 5.
Hopefully you’ve gained value from that. It’s a pretty simple episode.
