In today’s video, I talk about the work-life balance and if it’s even possible to achieve.
As I explain in the video, it’s more of a moving target.
Enjoy the video.

Hi guys, welcome to another episode of Driving With Nick Pratt.
In this video, I want to talk about work-life balance. Some people call it the work-life-balance myth, and I am going to be giving you my perspective on it in this video.
I am sure you have heard of the work-life balance before. What is relates to is having a life with balance so you’ve got balance for friends, fitness, for your loved ones and you work and everything like that.
I read a lot of personal development, and recently I have read a lot of things from people like Brian Tracey and others about the work-life balance and I wanted to give you my view point on it.
First of all, does work-life balance exist? Yes, it kind of does. From what I have learned from Brian Tracey, who I think has a really good perspective on it, is that with your work-life balance, it will never be completely in balance.
You need to constantly work on balancing it.
You’re never going to get a point in your life where it’s completely in balance. It will vary from day to day.
I think the point is that you simply need to recognize what is going on, and make changes as you go.
Make changes every day.
Some days you’ll have a lot of your priority going to fitness, some days you’ll have a lot of priority that’s going towards your business or home business, and you’ll have too much energy going towards something.
What I am saying is, don’t get stressed out about keeping your life in balance, just always try to tweak things like you would with anything.
Personally speaking, I do work very hard but I also have a lot of downtime where I go to see movies with friends, or for meals with friends, and I take care of my fitness.
I would say that yes I have work-life balance, but I am constantly working at it, and each day things change.
Some days your life will be more in balance in certain areas than it will on other days.
I would say work-life balance does exist, it’s just something you need to take note of and be aware of and approach it with mindfulness, and make changes as and when.
