In today’s video, I talk about how to stay in the game when you’re in home business.
As I explain in the video, there are more than 3 ways, but these are the most interesting and most effective, in my own experience.

Hi guys, welcome to another episode of Driving with Nick Pratt. In this episode, I am going to be talking about staying in the game. I am going to be giving three very specific ways of how to stay in the game in this industry, a term you hear quite a lot.
First of all, let’s talk about what “staying in the game” means. I would say this is a term a few people use, and it can apply to his industry or anything in life. You’ve got to stay in the game, you don’t want to get to a point where you’re burnt out and you quit. It’ll go for this industry, a sport, anything.
In this industry, the home business industry or internet marketing, you have to stay in the game. I can testify to that because I have stayed in the game and become a top earner. If you stay in the game, you will be rewarded.
I am going to give you 3 interesting ways of staying in the game.
Of course, there are more than three ways of staying with it, but these are three interesting ways for you to think about.
Staying in the game is a bit like a marathon. You have to keep feeling yourself up to keep going with your business.
These things should help.
Tip 1: Look After Your Health
What does this mean? This means watching what you eat. It means exercising regularly. It basically means to be healthy. So you want to eat well, drink well, drink water, you want to be healthy. The reason this is important in business is because your health absolutely everything in business and in life. You’ve got to be healthy. If you’ve got a healthy body, you’ll have a healthy mind.
I seem to remember Richard Branson talking about this. He was asked in an interview what one of the most important things in business and life was. He said “exercise.” It’s very, very important. You have to think to yourself that if you want to stay in the game, you’ve got to make sure that you don’t cut corners with your health and that you look after your body.
Trust me, it works really well. Do things, like drink a green tea instead of a coffee.
Look after your health. This is important for running a business or do anything in life.
Tip 2: Don’t Overload Yourself Too Much Each Day
I will tell you a bit of a story about me.
For the past few years since I have been in this industry, I haven’t really done that much each day. In fact, I haven’t slaved away at the computer for 8 hours a day or anything like that. I have a pretty easy-going schedule where I only work for one or two hours a day, not a hell of a lot.
It’s really been quite chilled out. I’ve actually been able to work a bit, then go to the coffee shop and have a bit of a relax, have some fun, and meet up with friends a socialize. I haven’t really burnt out or done anything like that.
You get some people in this industry that get started with a business opportunity, maybe it’s network marketing or top tier, and they are like, full guns blazing 8 hours a day.
You may think to yourself that’s good, and in some ways it’s good, but you can’t sustain that. You’re never going to stay in the game. You won’t get to your results, you’ll just burn out quite quickly.
What I suggest is each day don’t have a really long to-do list. Just have a couple of things that you’re going to do, and make sure that you do that. If you can sustain that for a really long time like I have, you can become a top earner.
Don’t have a huge task list each day. Have like, 3 tasks to do, and make sure you’re not overdoing it on yourself.
It’s a marathon, you can’t sprint all the way through a marathon. You have to pace yourself.
Tip 3: Have fun
This relates to my second point. I do see a lot of people who get started with home business and they just do not enjoy it at all.
I’ll be coaching people and I will say something like “maybe you want to produce some content. Maybe you want to do some advertising.” You can just tell by their whole manner that they’re not looking forward to it. They don’t see it as something that is going to be enjoyable.
If you’re going to stay in the game, you’re going to have to enjoy the process.
You’re going to be doing the process for a while, you’re going to be developing your skills, improving your conversion rates, and learning split-testing, you’re going to be pushing yourself outside your comfort zone, so make sure you enjoy it.
If you don’t enjoy it, you’re never going to get out alive.
To recap, look after your help, don’t overload yourself, and make sure you’re having fun.
If you do those things, you can stay in the game. And if you stay in the game, you can do very well in this industry.
Hopefully you’ve gained value from that. Be sure to share it around if you know someone who could benefit. Be sure to reach out to me if you need any help.
