In this episode, I’m going to talk about how to not get distracted. If you find yourself getting distracted when you’re trying to do your marketing, when you’re trying to build your home business, you’re going to find this really helpful, so stay tuned. I look forward to sharing this with you.
This is something I come up against a lot. I talk to people at events, I talk to team members, I talk to coaching clients, and one of the things they say to me is “I meant to do this, this and this, all these different marketing strategies” that they learn, but then they say “other things come up. I got distracted.”
That’s why I’ve shot this video, to explain how to not get distracted.
A lot of people say to me “Nick, how are you able to tune out lots of content, how are you able to share stuff on social media, how are you able to run all this, where do you find the time?”
The truth is, I make the time. I don’t get distracted. It’s not a case of distractions not being there. Myself, and lots of other leaders, have the same distractions as you do, because there’s distractions on social media, there’s all this stuff vying for your attention.
To be honest, it’s all about having a high vision. That’s the core thing. Because I’ve got a high vision for what I want to achieve for the next year, two years, three years, five years, even ten years.
That vision pull me away from any stupid distractions. It could be funny cat videos on Facebook, it could be people advertising a new launch, there are launches going on pretty much every week. I get pitched terribly by people, they basically try to trick me to click their links for these launches, but the point is, these are all distractions.
Lots of people in my opportunity they get distracted with other things, or they start promoting another launch, but they aren’t promoting the opportunity, they get distracted.
Now, the reason I don’t get distracted as much is because I’ve got a high vision I’ve laid out for what I want to achieve.
The question I’ve got for you is, what’s your vision like for the next year, two years and five years? Does your opportunity get you that fired up that it lays out that vision for you? If it doesn’t, then you have to rethink about things.
If it does, great, but you have to map out your vision, and that will stop you coming up against distractions.
The solution isn’t to move to the desert or move to some remote part of the world where there’s no distractions. Distractions will always be there, but your vision will pull you through so that the distractions are not going to have an impact on you.
That’s really important, because this is one thing I see a lot of people face. They’re just not getting stuff done. They’ll learn the strategies, but they are constantly being pulled in a million different directions.
Sort this out, and you’ll definitely see success. It will pull you in the right direction. Have a vision for what you want over the next year, two years, five years, ten years, and that will pull you away from distractions and people vying for your attention.
Anyway, I hope you got a lot of value from this guys, it’s a really important lesson. If you like this video, like it, comment on it, share it around, and I look forward to seeing you on the next episode.
