Hi guys, welcome to another episode of Driving with Nick Pratt. In this episode, I am going to be talking about something called the “Slight Edge Principle,” and how you can apply this to your business, whether it’s network marketing, affiliate marketing, top tier, or small business to get fantastic results.
It’s quite a simple message today.
So what is the “Slight Edge?”
It’s basically having things within your business, each and every day that you do day in and day out without fail, that add up to huge results over time.
Now this doesn’t only apply to business – it could also be for your health, this could be in your relationships, this could be if you’re learning something.
Essentially, it’s about having stuff that you do every single day without fail as a part of your daily routine to move your business forward.
It may sound simple to you, but this is exactly what I do.
Let me explain some of the things I do every day. These are the kinds of things you can probably relate to.
I produce content every single day.
I connect with my leads every single day – people that I am talking to that are perhaps interested in buying a product from me, or joining a program through me. I connect with them and chat with them.
I send emails to my mailing list every single day.
I read a personal development book for 30 minutes every single day.
That last point there is huge – if you read personal development every single day, it means you’re going to have a very strong mindset moving forward, so it’s very important.
Those are some examples I do in my business.
Things that are not in my business that I do every single day include working out 6-7 times per week, I do high-intensity interval training.
This adds up to huge results over time. If you’ve done a popular workout routine like insanity or T25, Max 30, P90X, you tend to use them 5-7 times per week that you have as a habit, you end up with huge results.
It works for your health, it works for business. It has to be stuff that you do each and every day.
Even if you don’t do much every day, as long as you do it every day, it adds up to huge results.
It is very, very important.
What I recommend you do is read this book called The Slight Edge.
I’ve read this book last year, and even though these things are simple, it really helps to have it explained why it is so important to do every single day.
So grab that book, I definitely recommend it, get a copy on your kindle. Make sure you read it, because it’s absolutely fantastic.
Think about the things you’re doing every single day, because that’s the way to success.
