In today’s video, I tell you the one tip I give to anyone starting a home business.
Of course, there are lots of tips, this is the #1 thing you need to know.
Enjoy the video.
In the video, I mention the danger of shiny object syndrome, which I did a video on recently and you can see here.
Hope you get lots of value and also feel free to check it out on YouTube here as well.

Hi guy, this is Nick Pratt, welcome to another episode of Nick Pratt TV.
This video is an important one. What is the one tip I would give to someone who is starting out?
I get asked this at events all the time, so I thought it would be beneficial for you to hear it.
This is just a short video today, so I am going to quickly explain this to you.
I got reminded of this question because someone interviewed me at an event, and she showed me the video on Facebook, and it finally got done. I was able to review that and listen to myself on it.
The one piece of advice I give to people when they are starting with a business opportunity, if I had to only give one.
Focus on one marketing strategy and get it to 10 or 20 leads per day, before moving on to something else.
It’s really about not getting distracted.
I recently did a video about avoiding shiny object syndrome, and not getting distracted, and it’s what I recommend for you as well.
What people tend to do is start off with one marketing method, and after a couple of weeks it’s not working very well, they’re not getting any leads, so they move on to another marketing strategy which they do for 2 weeks, and then that doesn’t work, then another one and another one.
If I had to give one piece of advice, find a marketing strategy that you’re passionate about and do it for 6 months, or until you become really good at it. Become a specialist, not a generalist.
This is the one piece of advice I give to people. To be honest, a lot of leaders do give this advice. Become good at one strategy, don’t try to do lots and lots. Focus on one.
This is a quick video, but if you want some advice on what strategies to try, you can reach out to me on Facebook. Talk to me, and I’ll give you some ideas!
