How to convert social media followersHi guys, it’s Nick Pratt here, welcome to another episode of Nick Pratt TV. We’ve got another episode with my friend Tiffany here, she’s all the way from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I think she is enjoying herself here and she has come to visit Nottingham.

She has a question for this episode, so, what’s your question Tiffany?

Tiffany: The question is very simple: how do you convert your social media followers into buyers? Can you share?

Sure, I am going to share how I do it. I’m not saying it’s the only method to use, but this is what I personally do.

If you’re on my Facebook profile or fan page, what I tend to do is I get people to raise their hands rather than just sell stuff. When I do a posting, I am sharing more stuff about lifestyle and about showing me as a real person, and then, I am getting people to raise their hands if they are interested.

Then, I will talk to them on Facebook private chat and build a relationship with them.

How to convert social media followersThen, if the time is right, and the situation is right for them, I’ll offer my business opportunity or my Lead Generation System to help them.

The problem I see that I a lot of people have is that they’re just blasting links out there.

They’ll do a posting on Facebook and jump up and down about their opportunity and their system, and what you’ll see is they don’t get any likes.

When I do a posting, I am talking about stuff as simple as going to watch a movie, or I am going for a meal with family or whatever. That gets lots of like because it shows me as a real person and people love to buy, but they hate to be sold to.

What I recommend to do to convert people is show that you’re a real person, and then the people who like your posts, you then send them a private message and open up a conversation asking them about what they are doing.

And then, I the situation is right for both of you, then you can more forward. Whereas the method of blasting links out there doesn’t work because people aren’t just scrolling through their newsfeed waiting to join the first opportunity they see. You get a lot of people in MLM that are jumping up and down about their weight loss products or nutritional products, and they don’t get any likes.
