Hi guys, welcome to another episode of Nick Pratt TV. This episode will be a short and simple one, but I really want to talk about why it’s important o focus on the key metrics on your business and the numbers, rather than getting too swept up by the hype of the opportunity, which is something we tend to do in this industry in general.
This is really just a simple episode of my thinking out loud.
It’s really about if you want to be successful in this industry, I see a lot of people out there who have really great intentions for succeeding, but there is something a little bit off. What I would say is that it is important to have mindset, that’s absolutely important and I’ve talked a lot in the past about my mind set and how I read self improvement books, etcetera. And it’s important to have a lot of excitement and company events too.
When it all comes down to in business, you actually get results based on numbers. Specifically, building a network marketing or home business, you actually make money by the number of people you put in front of the presentation. This is well documented.
Even though it’s important to work on your mindset, and be really excited and to be fired up, don’t lose sight of the fact that your business depends on lead generation, sales, putting people in front of the presentation and really improving on those things.
I think it’s really fantastic when I see people who put videos on Facebook where they’re talking about their business. That’s really good, but at the end of the day, I don’t do a ton of them. I’ve maybe done a few in the past but I tend to just focus on the core numbers, lead generation and lead conversion.
I love going to the company events, I love all the exciting stuff like that, I love mind set, but the point is, what actually gets you paid isn’t that stuff. What gets you paid is lead generation and lead conversion.
In your business, do you know how many leads you’re getting per day? Do you know what your conversion rates are? Are you constantly trying to improve those numbers?
Or, are you kind of surfing around on Facebook and watching motivational stuff, which is great, but how many leads are you getting per day?
Those are the kinds of numbers that actually dictate how many sales and signups you’re going to get per month. Just try to remember that.
