Welcome to another episode of Driving with Nick Pratt, and in this episode I’m going to be talking about what is the best kind of sales funnel to be effective in home business is, whether it’s network marketing, affiliate marketing, top tier or MLM.
This is one of the first episode of Driving with Nick Pratt for a long time, I’ve been doing a lot of training videos from my office.
I want to talk about something that a lot of people wonder about, which is what is the best kind of sales funnel for MLM, network marketing, any kind of home business or an affiliate program.
First of all, you should already know that every single business has what’s known as a sales funnel in place. That’s where someone enters through the top of the funnel, they discover you or your business, and then they go through a process and at the end of it, some people will decide to move forward with it as a customer or maybe as part of your business opportunity.
Obviously, every single business has a sales funnel in place. The point is, with network marketing and home business it’s no different.
So what is the best kind of online sales funnel for home business?
I really want to explain this because it’s something I get asked a lot.
If you’re promoting a business opportunity, the main thing is that your sales funnel captures leads with something known as a landing page giving something away for free. I’ve got videos on that, and you can see one here. With your new leads, within 24-72 hours, it should lead to some kind of personal, one-to-one follow up.
This can be through a phone call, Facebook chat, personal email. It should really go to a one-to-one environment.
If you’re promoting a business opportunity, your sales funnel shouldn’t really be about getting as many clicks to your sales funnel as possible, because it’s a little bit different if people are joining a business opportunity. You’re not selling products, so it’s different.
For example, if you’re in affiliate marketing and you’re promoting something like plates. Obviously, people buy those sorts of things. But if you’re promoting a business opportunity, you have to have that one-to-one connection in place. People aren’t just buying a normal product, they are making a commitment to join a business opportunity and a new business model for their life.
Whatever your sales funnel is, the point is shortly after the person becomes one of your leads, you need to have that personal follow up in place.
I’ll give you a few ideas for that. One of the things is obviously, you can make yourself available by leaving your phone number. You can give people the chance to request a strategy session, so getting people to come to you. You can do what I do, which is where I ask people to add me to Facebook because I am on there all the time and I am happy to chat with people if they need advice or things like that.
It’s a case of changing the environment of the marketing where it leads to that one-to-one communication. The reason this is necessary is obviously because when people join a business opportunity, even if it’s a low cost commitment, they still feel that they are committing to a new step in life and business. The one-to-one communication is very important and it will allow you to succeed against your competitors as well because you’ve got that personal follow up in place, and your conversions will be higher.
